CDI is a major supplier of Dial Torque Wrenches to the automotive, nuclear and industrial markets in addition to military installations throughout the world. The Classic series features sturdy torsion beam design for dependable long life and accuracy. The small frame Classic series offers working ranges from 3 in. lbs. to 50 ft. lbs. in 1/4" and 3/8" drives. The large frame Classic series continues from 100 ft. lbs. through 2,000 ft. lbs. with 1/2", 3/4" and 1" drives. Accuracy of both series of ± 4% meets or exceeds ASME B107.14M-1994, ISO 6789 bi-directionally from 20% to 100% of scale. All CDI Dial Indicating Torque Wrenches are supplied with a N.I.S.T. traceable certificate of calibration.

CLICK STYLE TORQUE WRENCHES

 

 

 

Micrometer adjustable "click" torque wrenches are easy to operate, and have many industrial, automotive, and aircraft uses. From 10 in. lbs. to 2000 ft. lbs., CDI offers a wide selection of clicker style torque wrenches to fit your needs. All wrenches have easy-to-read precision laser marked scales. "Click" torque wrenches are available with single or dual scales, in English or Newton Meter units. All of CDI's click torque wrenches are calibrated for use in both directions. To set the desired torque, simply pull down the lock ring and turn the handle to the desired torque setting. Once set, the positive locking device locks in the torque setting. When the desired torque is reached, an impulse can be felt through the handle along with an audible "click". Most ratchets feature a "Quick Release" push button that both locks the socket in place and makes socket changes quick and easy.

CDI Pre-Set torque wrenches are designed for use on production lines and other applications where a specific torque is required for repetitive operations. The design, fabrication and materials used have been developed in coordination with major manufacturers in actual production use.
